Kids come home from school on Valentine's Day with all their cards wadded up in the bottom of their backpacks. This year, though, love is going to keep all those valentines together.
- Lay out newspaper to protect your work area.
- Paint clothespins ($3 for 50, shoplet.com; you'll need one for each kid in the class) with red or pink paint (we used Crayola Artista II Liquid Tempera Paint, $4 per pint, misterart.com) and let dry for about half an hour.
- Spell out "love"or classmates' names with alphabet stickers (we used clear Crystal Stickers, $5, acmoore.com, which make 2 "loves" per pack; if that's too expensive for the class, Be Mine stickers, $5, orientaltrading.com, have more letters).
